Welcome to the Involve CLG Training Centre
We place a strong emphasis on developing effective training courses that enhance a learner’s understanding of Traveller Culture and Identity, as well as create an awareness of how your service welcomes and interacts with members of the Traveller community who access it.
Involve provide various training options to suit your needs, whether facilitated in house at your organisation or business, in an online setting with one of our trainers, or on your own time through our training portal – get in touch to discuss the options available.
This programme is designed for Traveller and non-Traveller organisations and groups, as well as individuals.
The following training courses are currently available:
Traveller Culture and Identity
The Traveller Culture and Identity programme raises awareness about Travellers among the general population and national organisations. It also provides an opportunity for Travellers to know more about their rich history and culture and to feel personal pride in their identity.
This programme will be delivered to Travellers and non-Traveller organisations and groups in a range of ways over multiple formats including Irish Traveller led, in-person workshops, online workshops, an internet-based resource bank, a trainer manual and a self-study online course.
STATUS
The STATUS (Supporting Travellers Advance Through Universal Services) Toolkit is a Quality Assurance (QA) Framework whereby organisations can engage in a process of self-evaluation and agree a Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) to support their youth work practices in order to be more inclusive of members of the Traveller community.

Traveller Culture and Identity training aims to provide a learner with a clear understanding of Traveller History, Culture and Identity. Throughout the modules of this course, a learner will be provided information through PDF manual and video format, with specific questions relating to each module. It is designed to be accessible and is open to everyone, regardless of age, experience, education or background.
What Is STATUS Training?
STATUS Training aims to provide a learner with a clear understanding of Quality Assurance (QA) Framework whereby organisations can engage in a process of self-evaluation and agree a Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP) to support their youth work practices in order to be more inclusive of members of the Traveller community.
