European Projects

Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth and sport. The 2021-2027 programme places a strong focus on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life. It provides funding and support for organisations so that they may operate projects that encourage European exchange, co-operation and learning. Erasmus+ is funded by the European Union through the contributions of member states, including Ireland.

The programme’s objective is pursued through three “Key Actions”:

  • Key Action 1: Learning mobility of individuals
  • Key Action 2: Cooperation among organisations and institutions
  • Key Action 3: Support to policy development and cooperation
